What is α-PHiP
Known as alpha-PHiP or cathinone, a-PHiP is a chemical of the cathinone group and is a structurally isomer to its parent compound Pyrovalerone.
It also shares many similarities with the more well-known compounds A-PHP, MDPV.
α-PHiP Properties
A-PHiP, a cathinone-class compound, shares chemical properties with Pyrovalerone. The only difference is that a-PHiP has a shifted methyl from the 4 position in the aromatic ring to 4-position in the acyl chain. A-PHiP, just like Pyrovalerone can produce remarkable results. However, no studies have been done to verify this.
A-PHiP, like all psychoactive cathinones is thought to increase dopamine’s release and decrease the reuptake of norepinephrine and epinephrine in the central nervous systems.
