The Psychedelic drug 5-MeO–DiPT is also known as Foxy Methoxy and Foxy Methoxy. It belongs to the tryptamine family. Alexander Shulgin synthesized it in the middle of the 1970s. A detailed report was published in TiHKAL, 1997’s TiHKAL (Tryptamines that I’VE Known and Loved).

While limited research has been done on the substance, it is not known to have the same hallucinogenic properties as LSD and Mescaline. It is well-known for its stimulating and entactogenic laboratory effects.
